Can you give me a list of places in the US that are easy to live in without having to drive at all?
New York and San Francisco have great public transit. Chicago is good too
Actually any city with reliable mass transportation. Especially if you live near your job.
Anywhere urban where you can bike, take the subway, get a taxi, walk, etc. Cities are a great place to live if you don't want a car. Maybe Boston, New York..
For Texas, it would be Dallas, maybe Houston for public transportation options.
The only place in the states I've been to is San Francisco. And that place is easy to live in without any transportation other then your own two feet.
We live on Louisville, ky. We have a super transit system. I have a 23 year old daughter who lives on her own on another area of Louisville. She is a writer and has never really wanted to have a license or all the expense of owning a car. She buys a monthly pass at $50.00 which allows her to ride as much as she wants all month.
